Financial Advisers Change Their Business Approach

There are some interesting, but not surprising, survey results at A recent industry survey of financial advisers reflects a clear change in the way they do business.'s summary of the survey is at its website, in an article
titled "Downturn has changed the way most advisers do business, survey indicates".

Fifty-seven percent of advisers indicated that the crisis had had a “large impact” on their business. A full 60% said they had met or spoken more frequently with clients to help them manage their investments, and 46% of advisers were recommending different products than they had previously.
